Time

More than just a personal weather station, the TE923W includes a built-in clock that can display the current time format, and this clock really will display the current time, since it receives radio signals from the U.S. Atomic Clock in Fort Collins, Colorado. Not only does it consistently adjusts the clock to within one second of official U.S. government, but automatically adjusts the time for Daylight Savings Time as well. The atomic clock features a dual crescendo alarm with a programmable snooze alarm that never needs resetting. What's more, this clock displays both a user-friendly sunrise and sunset calculator, and a moon phase calendar.

Weather

This exceptional unit measures wind speed and direction; rainfall amount; indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity; and includes a wireless UV (Ultraviolet) sensor that measures potentially harmful UV levels. And not only does the TE923W display the temperature and humidity, but provides you with a 12- to 24-hour weather forecast with easy-to-interpret graphical icons, such as clouds, rain, sunshine and more. The screen displays the current temperatures at both the main display, and the remote sensor location in either Celsius or Fahrenheit depending upon your selection. As an added convenience, it contains a programmable ice warning alarm for taking precautions against the frost. It also has a 24-hour barometric pressure history chart. The station has eight-channel capability and will accept up to four additional sensors with a wireless transmission range of approximately 300 feet..

As convenient as it is accurate the display utilizes easy-to-read digits on a bright, blue backlit LCD display that allows you to read its information at a glance day or night. It comes with an infrared remote control for all display functions as well as PC Software and USB cord. It can store up to 200 weather records without using a PC connection.The whole system requires 12 AA batteries and 2 AAA batteries which are not included.
